...I've heard from my US Senator in a long time. This Senator, Norm Coleman, has a reputation for being a complete a-hole (i.e. refusing to sign the token Pride proclamation as mayor of the capital city, getting voted in as mayor then becoming a Republican, being Bush's bitch since then, etc.). I sent an email voicing my support for Domestic Partner Benefits for Federal Employees not expecting to hear back. I got an email on Tuesday from him, he does not support the bill, but he is "open" to further exploration of it. I didn't expect him to get behind it, I sent the email for my own piece of mind, and he responds with the most non-offensively crafted letter. Wow. I still think he's an ass, but I'm impressed with his ability to hire someone to write form letters well. Tags: politics Location: work Mood: tired - insomnia strikes again Music: PC Mag podcast

There was a lot of eye candy to keep track of, podcasts to catch up on, and waiters to harass. I couldn't get chunky little Edwin to sit on my lap, nor could I ever get enough of Oscar's dimply smile. The waiters at Ritmos took care of us every day. Now it's back to the salt mines.
